If you’re just beginning to start creating videos and wondering what type of video is the easiest, I have the solution for you!
A STOP MOTION VIDEO.
A stop motion video is made up of a series of photos that are stitched together and played back at a high speed to create a video. It’s fun, light-hearted, engaging, and appropriate for many types of videos.
As a business owner especially if you’re a product-based business owner, you’ve already perfected capturing photos so this technique will be easy for you to tap into as you capture a series of photos to piece together into a stop motion.
In today’s issue, I’ll share 3 reasons why stop motion performs better compared to still photos on social media.
1️⃣ The content is short and loop-able which increases engagement when there is no clear ending to a video.
2️⃣ 85% of people watch a video without sound but the narrative with stop motion is visual so you can tell a story without relying on sound or text.
3️⃣ You only have 7 seconds to capture the attention of someone while they are scrolling on a mobile device and with social media platforms autoplaying video content, stop motion instantly catches the viewers’ eyes and stops the scroll.
In my latest YouTube video, I’ll show you how to create a stop motion video simply by using your phone.
